You ever find yourself getting splinters at the worst time and never having something on hand to deal with them? Me too...
The Splinter was created in mind with a simple ideology; I need something pointy right now but I don't carry pocket knives, or the location I am at would make it awkward to whip out my pocket machete.
The Splinter features a 3 sided point, much like a bayonet. It is unsharpened on the sides, but has a very precise tip making it very easy to puncture things... like skin.. to remove splinters..
It is threaded on both ends of the tip, this allows it to be unscrewed from the base and then stored inside to both make it easy to carry, and easy to... well carry where you don't want to draw a bunch of attention to it.
Each one is hand finished in its own unique pattern, no two will ever be alike. Also due to the rough design, these are cheap for you (in cost). Which means if you lose it or break it, no real loss to you except you threw away a piece of me and we can no longer be friends...
Anyways, it is elegant in the way that a trowel is elegant to a shovel.. in other words these are not perfect show pieces, but they were never intended to be. For their intended purpose they will perform well and should require very little maintenance, if any.
